A Radio Heart Never Stops Beating

Radio is not just a medium — for me, it’s a calling. A year ago, I aired the final episode of the GOD Radio Top 33, a weekly program that ranked the most influential Christian songs in the Netherlands. It was heard nationwide on GOD Radio and streamed globally through Mixcloud, Spotify and YouTube. While the show ended, my passion for radio never did. It’s in my bones — it always has been.

A New Chapter Begins

Soon, I will return to the airwaves with a brand-new weekly program: The Christian Top 33 (De Christelijke Top 33). As before, it will be broadcast on GOD Radio and offered for syndication to other stations in both English and Dutch. This show will once again celebrate contemporary Christian music — a chart not focused on worship alone, but a broad reflection of what’s happening musically in the Christian world.

I’m returning with greater vision, deeper discernment, and a renewed sense of purpose: to curate content that doesn’t just sound good, but is good — content that edifies, uplifts, and glorifies Jesus.

A Glimpse Back: The GOD Radio Top 33

Every Friday from 4 to 7 PM, the GOD Radio Top 33 brought hope to the airwaves. It was more than just a music chart — it was a sanctuary of sound, a celebration of faith, and a weekly meeting point for believers across the country.

The Journey That Brought Me Here

My story with radio began in 1994, as a 15-year-old guest on a local gospel program. One impromptu mic handoff later, I was hooked. Over the years, I moved through different stations and styles, eventually stepping back after wrestling with the content I was required to broadcast — lyrics that didn’t align with my convictions.

That pause was painful, but necessary.

And then... came the open door from GOD Radio. It was unexpected and miraculous. Hosting the Top 33 on a national platform rekindled my love for radio with a holy fire.

What's Next

The Christian Top 33 will be more than a countdown. It will be a platform for artists, a compass for listeners, and a voice of truth in the noise of culture. Expect musical excellence, spiritual depth, and a presentation style that’s engaging and sincere — true to who I am.
